We offer 10 feet of wall space, suitable for:
Up to 10 pieces of two-dimensional artwork (paintings, drawings, photographs)
Hangable three-dimensional artwork (no large sculptures)
Weight limits:
One hook per piece: 30 lbs
Two hooks per piece: 60 lbs
The Ely Community Center does not take a commission on any sales.
Exhibition durations:
February – April
May – June
July – August
September – October
November – January
All work must be ready to hang (framed or wired canvas).
Artists must provide their own labels and pricing, or a separate price list.
An Artist’s Statement must accompany the exhibit.
A short bio (max 190 characters) is required for our website and social media.
Exhibits must be cohesive, family-friendly, and non-controversial
(no obscenity, violence, nudity, or overtly political/religious content).
The Ely Community Center reviews all submissions and selects exhibiting artists.
Artists are responsible for hanging their work on the agreed-upon date.
Artists must remove their artwork promptly at the end of the exhibit.
If not collected within 5 days, it will be stored temporarily.
If not collected within 30 days, it becomes property of the Ely Community Center.
Sold pieces may be replaced with new work during the exhibit.
Artists handle their own sales — the Ely Community Center does not process payments or take commissions.
We will assist with promoting your exhibit through our website and social media, and may collaborate on a reception.
Artists agree to allow the Center to photograph and share images of their work for promotional purposes.
The Ely Community Center is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to artwork.
Participating artists must be 18 years or older.
